WINTON FRIENDS’ GROUP
The Winton Branch now has an official “Friends” organization. The group is made up of people who are interested in helping the library through fund raising and volunteer activities. The “Friends/Partners” are looking for new members. You don’t have to commit to large blocks of time or have any special skills to participate. We’re looking for people who would be interested in helping with some projects and joining with others who are interested in the library. Meetings are generally held the 3rd Tuesday of the month, starting at 6:30. Come around to the Atlantic door. Someone will be posted to let you in. If you can’t make the meetings but would like to participate, call Barbara Nichols at 428-8204.
