According to the Rochester Police Department (RPD), City residents may now register their bicycles online through Bike Index to make it easier to recover them in case of theft.

The most widely used bicycle registration service, Bike Index has cataloged more than 150,000 bikes in more than 450 communities. If your registered bike is recovered from a non-reported crime incident, you’ll be contacted to retrieve your property.
