Winton Foreign and Independent Film Series

Twins Anna and Lotte are orphaned in 1920s Germany and sent to live with two very different relatives. The sisters struggle to reconcile the differences of their youth when they meet as adults during World War II and again in their old age. Drop-In Needlecraft Group

Wednesdays, April 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd & 29th, 12-2 pm

Bring your own needlecraft project and socialize with others who share your love of knitting, crocheting, needlepoint, or other stitching crafts. No registration necessary.

Young Adults

Kaplan SAT/ACT Practice Test

Saturday, April 4th, 9 am – 1 pm

High-School Juniors ONLY, Experience an aptitude test for FREE. Kaplan Test Prep will proctor the examination and send students a report after the examination. Testing conditions will be the same as for a real SAT/ACT examination. Test will begin 2 hours prior to library’s regular open hours. A staff member will be at the library doors from 8:30 – 9:00 am to let in program participants. Registration is required as space is limited, please call 428-8204.

Volunteers Needed

  • Gardening Volunteers needed: Spring is finally here (we hope), and we’re looking for some volunteers we can call when we need help weeding, planting and cleaning the gardens. Any help will be appreciated keeping the gardens and grounds looking great this growing season!
  • Summer 2015–Ages 13 -17. Please help with Winton’s Summer Reading Program for children. The theme is Every Hero Has a Story.
