Quadrant Garden Tours
Saturday, July 12, 2014
12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Please come out and support your fellow gardeners and learn more about the awesome garden projects taking place around the City of Rochester. The tours are “open format,” which means you can visit as many of the gardens as you would like, in whatever order you choose.
Check out the City’s website for more detailed information about each of the gardens that will participate in this year’s Quadrant Garden Tours.
The list includes our very own Linear Garden!
2299 East Main St.
The North Winton Village Gardening Committee has worked for over 15 years to create the wonderful green space at Linear Garden. The garden has been created in collaboration with the City of Rochester, RCSD, Morse Lumber, the Boy Scouts, Wegmans, Tops, and neighbors and friends that have donated their time, passion, and resources to this wonderful project.
The garden boasts beautiful flowers, an artful arch, seating areas, herbs and vegetables. The herbs and vegetables that are growing in raised beds in the garden –including cilantro, parsley, dill, thyme, oregano, sage, rosemary and mint—are for use by local neighbors and businesses.
Please came and enjoy this wonderful green space in the City of Rochester’s SE Quadrant!
